PICTURES ~ A SMALL PARTY FOR A WEE GIRL

With the weekends around Ella's birthday all quite full, we weren't sure how we'd squeeze in a party for this little gal. Thankfully we have good friends who were willing to join us for a fairly last minute party, and Ella had a blast painting pumpkins and eating pizza and cupcakes with a few of her friends.

PICTURES ~ A VISIT WITH BELOVED FRIENDS

It's been almost five years since we've seen our dear friends Clint and Christel. Way back in the day, when Justin and I were first married, these two were some of the people closest to us, and two of the people God used most profoundly in our lives. On top of that, they're just so much fun to spend time with. We were so thankful they were here for a conference, but also able to spend time with us.

This is a couple who will forever hold a dear place in our hearts.

These urban Galotti and Clary kids were fascinated by videos of the Humfrey boys riding horses and living the lives of cowboys.

In the morning of their visit, it was actually Ella's birthday, and so we were able to have a particularly festive birthday breakfast!

And the big gift for this four-year-old...
a new bike!

Clint drew pictures for our boys that they have treasured.

Clint also showed them how to have an authentic western fight. (I'm not sure if I'm describing this correctly... a shoot-em-up of some sort, anyway...)

Sunday morning in church Clint preached at WTBC, and I know for Justin it is always particularly meaningful when Clint is able to come and bring the word, as Clint was one of his mentors way back during seminary days.

All in all, it was a short be sweet reunion with dear friends.

PICTURES ~ THANKSGIVING AT THE FARM

October draws to a close, and with it, sweet memories of Canadian Thanksgiving and precious time spent with family. As I survey these pictures from a few weeks back, I'm once again filled with thanks for my Mom and Dad, who always make holidays so festive and special, and for a little sister who traveled from far, far away to be able to see her family.

We love you all dearly,
and look forward to seeing you again soon!
xoxo
